Once upon a time, in a land far away, there were badass women – well because women have always been awesome. Coming of age in a time where women’s struggles seemed to be overcome – or so we were told – it was now on us to become whatever the hell we wanted to. In school we were shown opportunities, allowed to wear what we wanted (unless that included our seductive shoulders or mid thighs), offered spots on sport teams and could go about our business as we pleased.

Despite all of this though, we still don’t highlight the incredible things that women are accomplishing around the world – especially younger women.
